The finance Minister has announced a new scheme for the budget session of 2023-2024 which is known as PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Saman Yojana. PM Viswakarma Yojana 2024
The Prime Minister Vishwakarma Yojna was launched on 17 September 2023. The government of India has allotted a budget of 13,000 crore for the effective implementation of this scheme launched by the central government. Under this scheme all the eligible craftsmen and artisans can avail the loan of up to 1,00,000 rupees in the interest of 5%. The beneficiary rupees the loan within the specific period and they are also eligible for subsidised loan of up to 2,00,000 rupees under this scheme and also the 5% interest they have to pay in this amount.
During the skill training programme selected beneficiaries will receive a stipend of ₹500 per day through this scheme. To further support their craft, craftsmen and artisans will receive ₹15,000 under the scheme of PM Viswakarma Yojana 2024.
